Ash Jay is a wildlife illustrator and creature concept artist working in a broad range of mediums, focusing on fantasy, natural beauty, and the magical. From childhood, Ash has been fascinated by folklore, mythology and fictional worlds as a form of escapism, and this has informed her aesthetic sensibilities; creating places and experiences that people can’t reach. Ash has a background in animal welfare and biology and recent illustration graduate. She uses her work as a vehicle to instil her reverence and respect for animals in her audience, and connect the viewer to the natural world.
